Tropical Air has two flying schools located at Zanzibar International Airport and
Dar es Salaam Airport Terminal 1.

The air traffic is light and the uncluttered sky and clear weather virtually all year round provides an ideal environment for flying.

The schools, adjacent to the maintenance hangars, exposes students to various aircraft components and operations.

Our program lessons has defined objectives and classes are small to ensure you receive the personal and professional attention you need. We take pride in our qualified instructors who are involved and available on a full time basis.

We have created a quiet, undisturbed and unique environment to learn in and acquire your Private Pilot License (PPL).

Enrolment Requirements

	15 Years of age or older
	Be able to read, write & speak English
	Be medically fit
	Pay a 50% deposit
After the program you will be able to obtain your PPL, providing you meet the following requirements:
	17 Years of age
	Pass a Class II Medical Exam given by a designated TCAA Physician
	Pass a TCAA PPL Written Exam
	Pass a Check Ride with a TCAA Examiner
